Biography:
Andreas Gattermeier has been a certified physiotherapist since 1979. Until 1997 he was a lecturer and director at various schools for physiotherapy in Austria and Germany. Since 1997 he has been Head of Department for Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy and Physical Therapy at the Rehabilitation Clinic Rosenhof in Bad Birnbach / Germany. In addition to this activity Andreas Gattermeier has developed together with the Danube University Krems (DUK) a Master of "Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy" and implemented it since 2006 at the University. Since that time, he is responsible for this training as head of program. For more than 30 years, Andreas Gattermeier has been teaching manual therapy in many countries in the Kaltenborn Eventh Concept. Since 2017 he has been a guest professor at Kon Yang University in South Korea. Andreas Gattermeier is chairman of the Austrian Society for Manipulative Therapy (OEGOMT), member of the board of KEOMT and representative of Austria at the IFOMPT. Andreas Gattermeier has presented at the national and international levels, authored various papers. Andreas Gattermeier also is resposible for the Mentored Clinical Practice at the OMT program in Austria and Germany.
